ESURG October Meeting

1. Welcome, introductions and update

Group discusses minutes from last meeting.

2. ESURG film

• Aim for film to be 6 minutes long.

• Main focus on film will be highlighting the good work some services provide in spite

• of cut back and difficulties.

• Decision on next film topic - Group decided topic for next film will be based on Mental Health.

PEK Meeting Feedback (Every three months, the You First peers and keyworkers meet with ESURG to catch up on the work being done with the beneficiaries)

Everyone agreed it was a good meeting. Katy, a keyworker, provided a case

study. Which was an excellent insight to a positive outcome.

Discussion and review on options

• Would like to know what are the 4 areas that will be covered in the Money Management training.

3. ESURG budget

• Group discussed Newcastle, they require accommodation, travel and food.

• Has suggested staying in Newcastle for both events.

• Wants to do Health & Safety training, he asked the group if they mind.

NECG Conference

· Accommodation travel will be needed, to be taken from ESURG budget.

4. Website – Update

Matthew shows group current work on website, feedback from everyone is happy. ML has

set up a blog on the website this is updated regular.

5. Personal budget spending requests

The group heard five spend requests.

• The next meeting will be held on 10th November 2017.
